New England Employment Visa Lawyer
Experienced Guidance for Employment-Based Visa Applications
The Massachusetts-based law office of Chester J. Winkowski, Attorney at Law has extensive experience assisting professionals and corporations with employment-based immigration matters in New England and throughout the country.
Completing the PERM Labor Certification Process
The United States Departments of Labor and Homeland Security have strict regulations that often inhibit the ability of employers and employees to accomplish their immigration goals. Before a green card or temporary visa can be issued, the PERM labor certification process must be completed.
The multi-stage PERM process is designed to certify that there are an insufficient number of U.S. citizens available to fill the position for which an employer wants to hire a foreign national. Our firm handles the certification process to ensure that every step is completed properly, starting with analysis of the foreign employee’s qualifications, the job that is to be filled, and the technical requirements of the applicable immigration laws. We then guide clients through the required recruitment process, prepare and file the ETA 9089 with the DOL and, once approved, proceed with the petitions for the visa itself.
